After we loaded up (the longest part) we headed to camp. First thing,...find a good hammock spot.
We set up the tent and gathered firewood. The kids rode around on their bikes and made some new friends. Then we went for a walk by the lake to see what was around.
Suppertime...
Morning Coffee
Guess what's inside...yum!
We rented a pontoon boat at the state park marina
and spent the day on the lake.
Lots of swimming...
and fishing.....
and fun!
On the morning home we stopped at a funky lakeside shop, Paradise Point, for breakfast...
Our handsome guest, Hank, had very good table manners. This place has a delicious breakfast
and very kind, creative owners. It's worth the stop if you're ever in the area.
